| Comments: Nice to find this web site but disappointed I |
| missed the reunion in 99 in Newport.I boarded the |
| Stickell in May of 1969 just before she shifted homeport to |
| NORVA. As a ETN I took over the job of |
| maintaining the HF comm gear from Ron Fuch when he was |
| discharged. I worked with ET's Randy Witherow ETN2, |
| Don Wayne ETR2, Wayne Rusnak ETR3 and Sherman Lusk |
| (the ecm guy). I had many fond memories of my days back |
| on the ship and those that knew me will attest to my |
| preoccupation with practical jokes. Would like to hear from |
| others who served in the Stick especially those who made the |
| 69-70 Med cruise. I also am a Ham Radio operator WA1WMG |
| and sponsor two 2 Meter repeaters in Western Mass/Bershire |
| County Area (145.210 & 145.290 both on 77 cycle PL) If You |
| are a Ham and in the area stop in on one of the machines and |
| say Hi! |
